Mehdi Rostami

Mehdi Rostami is a Toronto-based musician, composer, and performer of the setar and tanbour.

His work is rooted in Iranian music, with a strong focus on improvisation and deep listening. Alongside performing, he teaches students with different musical backgrounds, adapting his method to their experience and understanding of sound. He has performed in various concerts and collaborations, and brings both stage experience and practical musicianship into his teaching.
